From April 26th to April 28th, eight winners and their guests enjoyed an all-expense-paid trip to Charlotte, NC to witness the high-speed excitement of the NHRA Four Wide Nationals, complete with access to Kalitta Motorsport’s hospitality tent. This special trip was the result of Automotive Part Associate’s Nitro Weekend Giveaway promotion.

The promotion was open to all customers of APA shareholders and TruStar members from December 1st, 2023, to January 31st, 2024. For every $200 of products purchased from participating supplier sponsors, customers received an entry to win. Ten second-place winners were awarded $500 each, and salespeople earned $100 for each winner.

Richy Morales, Jr., a service technician and one of the winners, shared his thoughts on the experience. He expressed, “This weekend was incredible. Winning was a complete surprise, but exactly what I needed. If more employees were appreciated like this and had similar opportunities, I believe it would boost morale and people would be a lot happier. I’m definitely going to go back to my WD and figure out how to participate in more APA promotions.”

Jan Larson, the Director of Marketing, also commented on the event, stating, “It was truly a fantastic weekend. Eight people started as strangers on Friday, but by Sunday, they were exchanging contact information, and talking to each other like old friends.  I always encourage our shareholders and TruStar members to engage in our promotions. Participation is simple and can significantly impact employee morale. There are plenty of reasons to get involved! I also want to thank all our supplier sponsors, but a special thank you to MAHLE for getting us tickets to the race and access to Kalittas’s hospitality tent.”

APA runs two promotions annually, one in the spring and another in the fall or winter. The current promotion, The Spring Fling Jackpot, will see seventy-five winners receiving $500 each.
